Remove In Transit for Short Delivered

There is a need to show the true scanning of an item and have the true status show for customers and public. You may find that sometimes you are not sent all the consignment items from a customer in the received data, and you can only deliver what you have to get the received freight off the floor and deliver it short. Currently the system shows In Transit for Short Delivery, and this is confusing not only the sender, but the receiver as well as they are calling the customer service team and wanting to know where the missing item is. There was no scanning In Depot of the missing item, but the sender or receiver are convinced that your company has the missing item as it is In Transit. I would like to propose that the status for Short Delivered be shown not only for the customer, but for the public to have the Short Delivered shown against the consignment status.
